Panama Road Greenways Plan

The Panama Riverside Friends Society Incorporated is proud to present the Panama Road Greenways Plan, developed in consultation with the wider community through our community survey.

With the help of local council, business, and community members we aim to create a safe, picturesque and functional pathway for community members to explore, engage with the natural environment (quite literally) in their backyard, and promote active lifestyles while preserving and enhancing the natural environment.

It is our belief that through the proper development of what has historically been an under utilised section of the Tamaki-Makaurau waterfront we can move to enact real, tangible change and begin the journey towards the social and ecological restoration of this naturally beautiful, vibrant and abundant reserve.
